The Green Agents Mission program was first presented as a Commitment for Action at Clinton Global Initiative University at Saint Louis in April 2013, supported by the Angelopoulos Fellowship 2013 to represent Greece under the pillars of Education and Environment.
It is an exciting energy project developed and implemented via SciCo, in collaboration with the British Council, the Radiotelevision of the Ministry of Education and Intelen Services limited.
The aim of the project is to develop an energy curriculum and to …recruit little Green Agents! Green Agents is a group of “secret spies” aged between 12 and 14 years old whose mission is to understand the science behind current environmental issues, to help reduce electricity use in their schools and to spread the word in their community.
The curriculum developed is on sustainability and links everyday life (electricity usage and carbon footprint) with global environmental issues like the enhanced greenhouse effect and climate change.
